This post was written for the old A level but most of the resources are still relevant. Hopefully you'll find my A level resource libraries (see the menu at the top of my blog) helpful when planning your lessons. They have been updated for the new specification.Jo Morganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11919801458664779971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4242439961617529545.post-26306156623427497592019-07-22T16:12:29.660+01:002019-07-22T16:12:29.660+01:00Thank you so much for this. The free tools include mind maps, flashcards, notes, quizzes and slides, with support for latex input. Students and teachers can create their own resources or search our library.
We also have free mobile apps for on the go revision.
Sarah Eganhttps://www.goconqr.com/en-US/profiles/1874044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4242439961617529545.post-35209152224836930352015-09-29T18:41:02.964+01:002015-09-29T18:41:02.964+01:00These comments are very helpful, thanks all! These comments are very helpful, thanks all!Jo Morganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11919801458664779971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4242439961617529545.post-3400243976355432332015-09-29T11:07:06.338+01:002015-09-29T11:07:06.338+01:00I have found 6th formers surprisingly receptive to...I have found 6th formers surprisingly receptive to being grouped by 'ability' (not the term I want, but it will do) at key times. For example, suppose a homework assignment reveals three/four groups: those that had no problem at all; those that made careless mistakes but understand; those that have some basic ideas but need to develop; those that don't have a clue. For more able students, I remove all the "hand-holding" interim steps, and just give them the final question. For weaker students, I might add more steps. Or, I put the extra steps at the front, and students can do and get them if they need them (orLong_Tailed_Tithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02529933186221115698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4242439961617529545.post-77153623790928982112015-09-28T08:41:55.068+01:002015-09-28T08:41:55.068+01:00Thank you for this.
