Primary Maths provides ideas and resources for teaching maths to students aged 11 - 18. I wish I could offer support to primary school teachers too but it isn't my area of expertise.

I'm often asked if I can point people in the direction of primary maths resources and blogs. This page provides a few starting points.

These websites provide printable and/or interactive primary maths resources. This list is not exhaustive!

The Mathematical Association runs an annual Primary Maths Challenge for children in Years 5 and 6.

Leanne Shaw's website Maths Problem Solving includes a number of primary level problem solving resources.

For more enrichment ideas, including information about in-school speakers and puzzle days, see my post 'Enrichment'.

If you know of any good primary maths blogs or resources that I should feature here, please let me know by emailing I've never taught primary maths but will do my best to help primary teachers find support.
